Facebook has just introduced its own avatar in the US this week, competing with the popular bitmoji avatars used in snapchat. Avatars were first introduced last year and have been since made available in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Canada. These customizable avatars can now be used in Facebook stories, comments and Messenger chats.
Unfortunately, there is no direct way to create your Facebook avatar using your desktop PC, but we have tried to figure out how is this being done for those who do not want to use Facebook mobile app.
Once you have succesful created your Facebook avatar on your mobile phone, you can still use it on your desktop/web version of Facebook. This can be done since you will see option to include the avatar you have created on Facebook on comments, posts as well as your profile picture. So the only way you can have is to create it on your mobile phone, and then use it on your desktop
